normal mode is just the original mode where you can choose any color for one shape
add mode makes black color invisible or transparanet or brighten colors which basically used by all livery creators who make shadings which adds shine effect multiple makes white invisible or darken all color usually used for other parts for shading in every convertion cars and adds shadow effects
